Hand-bound notebook, made with 100% silk charmeuse and hardwood. Silk is hand-dyed with natural dye extracts, then quilted and hand-stitched onto hardwood covers. Notebook pages are hand-bound using coptic stitching. This style of book binding allows for the book to lay open flat, ideal for sketching and writing across the entirety of the page. 

SAPPANWOOD dye extract is derived from redwood native to Southeast Asia and India. Its use as a dye dates back to medieval times. Dye color shifts with pH changes.
