Lunar phase calendar, silk-screened on 100% silk charmeuse fabric. Hand-dyed in small batches using natural plant and insect dye extracts. Mounted on 100% cotton canvas backing. One-of-a-kind and handmade.
INDIGO dye extract is derived from the leaves of the Indigofera plant. Used in ancient Egyptian burial shrouds, Indigo is the only natural blue dye, and the oldest known dye to humans.
Calendar depicts lunar phases in 2024. Back of calendar includes dates, times, and astrological signs of full and new moons. Lunar phases are set to Universal Coordinated Time zone, with time zone adjustments on back of calendar.
**Includes dowel/strap for easy hanging. Best kept out of direct sunlight to prevent color fading.**
